OK so first let me thank everyone who replied to my first post on reddit because it helped me understand the appeal of the feminine aspect of crossdressing. Since my first post I've come to the conclusion that I really wanna try crossdressing. I (19 yr old, Black Male) have already measured myself and came out with

Chest: 41
Breast: 45
Waist: 41
Hip: 48

And wanna know where to go from there. I've looked at some clothes (I'm really interested in heels) on Amazon and one of the main things I've had thoughts and questions about is finding shapewear and thigh pads to achieve a more flat core and feminine shape.

So I guess I'm basically asking for anyone's advice on not only the dressing and clothes but also on the personal aspect of everything meaning things like how to go about things with different living situations, family, privacy, etc.

Any questions or responses are very very appreciated. I don't mean to sound awkward or chatty but this is something I've always thought about and I want to start off looking but more importantly feeling great, thanks

Evening ladies
So I haven’t been on here in quite a while so thought I’d share an update of what’s been going on…
So I’ve been dressing for work for a number of months now,. All but a few are accepting of the changes. still using my male name but as it’s kind of a unisex name that doesn’t bother me, besides I’m sure it’s been enough of an adjustment for them seeing me in a dress day in day out. A few have started using feminine pronouns when referring to me which feel great whenever I hear it.
Still haven’t come out to family and friends, unless any are on here, in which case “surprise!!”
As for me I’m in touching distance of me target weight which should mean I can comfortably fit into a size 10 ( little bit snug for a whole day at the moment). My hair although needing a cut is now starting to look feminine and my makeup skills are at a stage I’m happy with.
I have also told my GP about my changes and am waiting an appointment for a consultation with him.
All things considered this has been the best decision of my life my only regret being that I didn’t do it sooner.

So to all you ladies not sure if your ready to take the plunge, just do it, be yourself and be happy

Looking through the posts here, I have come to realise that my idea of being a CD is different than most on here. I dress because I enjoy looking like a woman, not for any sexual arousal or to entice others to want physical (sexual ) contact. I dress to please me, not others. I try to look as feminine as is possible which ,to me, means tucking well when dressed up, I don't want to look like a man dressed in female clothes, and shaving as much body hair as I can. I am not a full time CD and enjoy both roles of my life. I am lucky enough to have a slim body, so can look good in lingerie, but find that posting pictures of me in lingerie elicits more sexual comments than admiration for the actual lingerie. I am not a prude and have had BI experiences, but that is private and should only be chatted about in PRIVATE NOT on the main wall here. I love to see nice clothes and underwear but NOT when it is just barely covering your male bits or hairy ass. If you wouldn't show it for real in public don't show me on the main wall.

Afternoon all,
I have a bit of a dilemma..
I work for a large manufacturing company as a manager so office based mainly, about a month ago I told the office staff I work closely with about my dressing, and they were all extremely supportive, two weeks ago we had a work night out for the office staff which I attended in a stunning black figure hugging dress, heels, the works, again everyone was supportive. Last week my boss called me into her office because she’d obviously heard the rumours and again she was supportive and said as long as it didn’t affect my work she’d be behind me all the way. I now have a meeting with HR on Monday which I suspect will go the same way.

The question is where do I go from here, I suspect rumours will be going around the shop floor but not everyone will hear and there will be some people who don’t understand or approve, but do I just bite the bullet and go in one day in a mini skirt, heels etc give them all a shock and something to talk about for a day or do I do thing subtly, have already been tying my hair back every few days, do I go for some eye liner then a few days later a bit of foundation and also change my shirts for blouses (less the falsies) and work through more and more feminine trousers etc,

Appreciate and advice from anyone whose gone through this
